If you were to ask me that question when I first started this website, I would say that it’s close to impossible. Of course, that was before I found this incredible backlink tool that have done exactly that in a test I made last year.

The backlink generator I was talking about is Automatic Backlink Creator 3000, also known as ABC3K.

Having quality materials in a website is no longer sufficient to ensure high website ranking. You also need to use an effective backlink tool to help you with the task of building quality SEO backlinks. Of course, you can build your own backlinks without this tool, but be prepared to invest a lot of time in it. If you have a better, more productive use of your time, then you need a backlink tool such as ABC3K.

Let’s backtrack a little here, and find out how a backlink tool works

This tool will automatically create a hyperlink on a related or similar website. The hyperlink, appearing as a keyword or phrase of your choice, will redirect the people that clicked on it to your website. What’s good about these automatic backlinks is that those that clicked on the links are already interested to see or find out more about the keyword that is highlighted. They are, what marketers call, targeted leads.

ABC3K is a backlink generator that will do what a reliable backlink tool should do. It will generate for you high quality backlinks from related websites from all over the Internet. This, in turn, will result in steadily increasing traffic to your website. If you can accurately specify to the backlink generator what type of contents are found on your site, expect a lot of backlinks from websites that are similar to yours. This is important in the eyes of search engines when they rank your site against the other websites you’re competing with for particular keywords.

If you only have one website that you’re working on, you can do without any backlink generator. You can create your own automatic backlinks by going to different websites and placing your hyperlinks there. If you want to achieve high ranking through the use of backlinks, you need to visit many websites regularly. If you have the time for this, then by all means, go ahead. However, not all of us have this amount of time to devote to backlinking.

And quite frankly, that task can be monotonous. If a task is something we don’t enjoy doing, we will likely put it off for some other time. That shouldn’t be the case if we’re serious about our SEO efforts.

This is why there is a huge demand for reliable backlink generators to build backlinks for you automatically. A search on the Internet will show a number of options available for you. But which one is the best backlink tool? Based on my test, you should strongly consider Automatic Backlink Creator 3000. This sites high Alexa ranking is one reason why.

<iframe

But by then, it might be too late for you to cash in on a fantastic opportunity to earn thousands of dollars, for life, by paying nothing. Yes, indeed. You pay nothing for these earnings. Or at least that’s what the company itself says.

And hey, even though their claims of having 3,000,000 members is unverifiable, as of this writing Wazzub.info has almost hit the top 1000 most-visited websites in the world according to Alexa, with WAZZUB.com almost 7000, so they are doing something right!

But is it just marketing, or is there substance to this?

Whenever an income opportunity is presented to you, you need to ask the tough questions. It isn’t being nosy, it’s just due diligence.

So what exactly is WAZZUB about? Who are the people behind this project? If it is free to sign up where are they going to get the money to pay the people that joined them? How much is the potential income if one joins this project? Is it for real?

And in the end it comes down to one key question.

But first, let’s get some background.

What Is Wazzub?

WAZZUB – (Wazz Ub? Get it?) – is supposed to be “the perfect homepage.”

Although the details are vague it’s meant to be a website that contains a powerful search engine (er Google?). You will also have access to news that interests you, links to the best deals in the Internet, send and receive messages from family and friends, and links to websites you frequent the most. Also, it is a community where you can meet old friends and make new ones. You can share your life’s events and happenings in this community, much like Facebook and Twitter.

Remember WAZZUB is not the first to look to knock of the big guys – heck FaceBook knocked out MySpace and Friendster, so it’s not impossible.

But even Bing, with the enormous financial, marketing, and technological resources of Microsoft behind it, has only garnered 12.8% of the market share from Google. Will WAZZUB have an equal, if not a better chance than Bing?

Or for competing with Facebook? Google+, a similar social networking site, is growing rapidly, yes. But a recent independent study, reported February of this year, revealed that Google+ users are only spending 3.3 minutes per month on the site. That is down from 5.1 minutes in November, 2011, and 4.8 minutes the following month. Facebook users, in comparison, spend 7.5 hours per month on the site.

In addition, the “do-everything” homepage idea isn’t exactly new stuff, contrary to what WAZZUB members are being told. We already have iGoogle, My Yahoo, My MSN.

As for the WAZZUB Charity or their WAZZUB song they are mere window-dressing on the rest of this venture.

WAZZUB With The Money?

Well you can join and login to WAZZUB and they say it will be ‘free forever’.

However the idea is that unlike Google, Facebook, and Twitter, 50% of the profits of this website will be shared to the people who joined the community before their launch date, <del
datetime="2012-04-16T21:54:46+00:00">April 9, 2012</del> (this date was previously April 1. Double hmm.) [Further update: the beta-launch date is now July 1. More days to keep the viral thing going.]

In WAZZUB the compensation plan depends on the number of people you recruit, up to five generations or levels deep. To join WAZZUB, all you need to do is to give your real name and email address to them.

There is no information on how members will be paid, and how much will they earn exactly. There is no accounting, no auditing, or formal contracts given.

Is WAZZUB Ready For The Challenge?

To answer this I point you to an excellent, highly extensive investigation into the details of WAZZUB by “KSChang”.

His forensic hunting dug up results like this:

WAZZUB is owned by GIT Global Investment, Inc., registered in Oregon, with mailing address in California, and operating in Nevada. The address in the registration document points to a residential house in Oregon. However, it is not an investment company. In fact, the State of Oregon has issued a “cease and desist” order to GIT’s company registering agent to stop registering any other company with the word “investment” in the company name because they’re not an investment company.

GIT Global Investment doesn’t say who the people behind the company are. There is no information as to how large this company is, such as how many employees they have. A few conflicting details say there are 5 to 20 people working on Wazzub. Now, compare that to Google’s 30,000-strong workforce. Yet, they claim that by their launch date, they will be nearly as big as Google; able to pay their over 3 million members hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in the coming months after the launch. Take note also that it took Google 13 years to achieve the revenue that they have now.

GIT Global hired a single individual with previous MLM experience to market WAZZUB, instead of using their allegedly millions of investment capital to hire an appropriate PR firm. This individual is not even one of the well-known successful names in the industry.

The company didn’t even bother to protect the word “WAZZUB”. It is not registered. Anybody can use the name or a variation of the word. For a reputable company one of the biggest issues they will face long-term is protecting their brand name, but here…?

The technology behind this community is a $300 off-the-shelf DZOIC Handshakes Neo Community script. Anyone can set it up in a matter of hours.

And when they had a counter on their site that was supposed to show the number of people signed up to the system in real time – it was fake, randomized counter. Even if you unhooked your computer from the internet, the counter still kept increasing. Magic.

In Summary

WAZZUB is a company with grand plans, poor foundations for a big business, publicity shy founders – and they’re asking for your name and email.

Seems like one of those things that many people would say,

“Hey I can just put in a junk email address, and if it turns out to be legit and I strike it lucky then great!”

But remember they are asking you to recruit your contacts into this too. So it’s not just your email they are asking for, it’s your reputation within your network. And that is very valuable indeed!

Don’t put your reputation – and future sales – at risk without a lot of thought.

The One Question…

When you are considering ANY money-making opportunity, here is the one question I would recommend you ask:

If I were not making any money from this, would I still recommend it to others?

And with WAZZUB for me the answer is clear.

[Final Note. It says in the worrying WAZZUB signup Terms of Use: "WAZZUB reserves the right to ask you for proof of identity, e.g. copy of Passport, Driver's License or Personal ID Card." Imagine if they sent an email to their subscribers saying "We have your commissions waiting for you. You simply need to supply us with these details so we can send them to you..." Hmmm.]

Remember, no matter what you do, you need to do it in a socially acceptable way. To build a proper and prosperous business online, you need to attract targeted leads regularly. Here is an example of a few marketing techniques that you can use to attract leads and turn them into paying customers or distributors. <a

No matter what you call it, may it be MLM, direct selling, network marketing, unfranchising, or home-based leveraged multi-tiered income business opportunity (whew!), you will be talking about the same marketing strategy. The sales force earns commissions from the sales they were able to generate personally. In addition to that, they earn a percentage of the sales generated by people they were able to recruit into the business.

The Direct Selling Association, a well-respected US industry group, stated that, in 2009, 94.2% of their approximately 200 member companies were using MLM as their primary marketing strategy. This generated 97.1% of their total sales. Today, it is estimated that in the US alone, over a thousand companies are using MLM marketing.

The thorns? Critics of this type of marketing insist that MLM and its name variations are words used to hide what it truly is: a pyramid scheme, Ponzi scheme, and other similar consumer fraud scams.

But what is the legal reality?

How can you separate the legitimate MLM companies from those that you need to avoid?

The United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) tells us that we must do our research, have a good dose of business sense and a healthy share of skepticism. They came up with eight steps on how to evaluate an MLM plan, which I recommended that you follow to find out if the MLM marketing company is legitimate.

[Note: different countries have specific rules about MLMs, but these 8 points are generally useful in most situations.]

Consider the company’s track record – Today, this is easily done through Internet research, but you must also check your local Chamber of Commerce or Better Business Bureau for complaints. Keep in mind, though, that not having any complaint doesn’t guarantee legitimacy. Find out how long have they been in business.

Know the product – I have always believed that you can easily market a product that you actually love. As such, find out everything you can from the product that you’re going to sell.

Ask questions – Ask about the terms and conditions of the company. Find out if they have an Income Disclosure Statement. I have compiled the ones I could find in a list I posted here. They’re all I can track down, as I found out that, on average, MLM companies don’t seem to have one. If the company doesn’t have one, ask your sponsor about the compensation structure.

Learn about any restrictions – Find out if the company has any returns policy, and what their restrictions are, if any.

Talk to other distributors – You can ask for the name and contact details of other distributors to ask them the same questions you gave to your sponsor.

Consult trusted neutral persons – Present everything you’ve gathered about the company to someone you trust who is not affiliated in any way to the MLM marketing company you wish to join.

Don’t rush into a decision – Take your time. Don’t fall for any “opportunity meeting” unless you are very sure about the decision that you’ll make.

Does it fit your goals and talent? – Having a great product and MLM marketing strategy don’t guarantee success. Honestly assess yourself if this is undoubtedly for you. Would you enjoy doing this type of work?

If you follow these steps that the FTC gave, you are considerably minimizing the chances of falling for an MLM marketing scam. You need to exercise due diligence before committing to any company or individual.

If you have other questions, hit me up in the comments section below.

Tastefully Simple: Pros and Cons

Martin's Extras

mlm business

mlm business opportunities

mlm business opportunity

mlm home based business

mlm home business

online mlm business

tastefully simple

tastefully simple reviews
<guid

One of the top 100 MLM companies to boast of its recipe for success is Tastefully Simple.

This review of Tastefully Simple is specifically about the income opportunity rather than the products themselves. It will help you understand whether or not this is the company for you, and if it is, how you can make the most of the opportunity for your success.

Tastefully Simple: The Background

Tastefully Simple is a networking marketing company founded by Jill Blashack Strahan in 1995 and is based in Minnesota. From humble beginnings, it has grown into a multi-award winning company inducted into the INC 500 Hall of Fame in 2006, and ranked as one of the top 100 MLM companies in the world based on turnover of $130 million.

They have a full range of foods, sauces, beverages, including beer bread, the Oh My Chai! drink.

With the tagline of “The Food You Love, The Time You Deserve” , Tastefully Simple offers a variety of gourmet recipes that are easy and quick to prepare.

If this message resonates with you, then read on to examine more about Tastefully Simple.

Pros: The good things about Tastefully Simple

Tastefully Simple is a member of the Direct Selling Association. This association maintains high integrity standards and imposes this on their members. Tastefully Simple is also rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau. Both of these factors are worth taking note of when looking for an MLM company. It helps you, and others you introduce to this business, to have confidence in the company.

Since being a ‘consultant’ (the Tastefully Simple name for an independent distributor) means owning your own business, you get to control when you work, when you meet people, when you have events, and how much (or how little) you put into it. You decide how to fit the business around your life, work, and family.

Tastefully Simple calls itself a ‘direct sales company’, and you get paid in a multi-level compensation plan. This means that as well as getting paid on your own retail sales, you will also get paid on the sales of others you recruited into the business, those who became consultants themselves. This gives your business the potential to not just to bring you residual income with repeat sales from long-term customers, but also leveraged income from the work of other consulatants you bring in as well.

But most people’s biggest questions and issues actually come from the…

Cons: Why Tastefully Simple may not be the one for you

No matter what you are told, this business will not suit everyone. You have to be a food and kitchen lover. Since Tastefully Simple is all about gourmet food, it is crucial that you have an interest or passion in this area yourself.

There is work and time involved. As a consultant, you will have to organize and host taste-testing dinners and parties to sell your products. You will have to do follow-up with customers and others who are interested.

There is a cost to becoming a consultant and accessing the compensation plan commissions. There is the “Business Blast Off Kit®”, designed for your first four parties at $170 plus tax (installment payments available), or the “Just a Taste Business Kit”, made for two parties at $89.00 plus tax. The starter kits include training manuals, the catalogs, food samples, and other business tools that you will need.

Although there is immediate income from 30% commission on customer sales, most people are also interested in the income from having a team of consultants– and this takes time to build. To advance in the ranks to Senior Consultant and beyond, you need to develop leadership, find consultants, and train them up for building their own customers and/or consultants. MLM is a get-rich-slow plan, where the biggest rewards take time.

Summary: So, is Tastefully Simple right for you?

Tastefully Simple is a legitimate MLM company with a solid product range. It doesn’t mean it is right for everyone, and if it’s not for you then hopefully you will know that by now (if not leave a question in the comments below.)

If it is for you then excellent! Enjoy your Tastefully Simple journey.

Even though you are reading this online, do realize that Tastefully simple is not very easy to market online. As a party-plan business like Tupperware, it is much better suited to in-home and in-person meetings. In fact being in an offline business when many other people are caught up in the hype of online businesses can be a great way to stand out.

However, there are three important online aspects of Tastefully Simple.

Firstly, people who sign up with you offline will almost always do a bit of searching online. They may do this after they sign up with you, or before. Particularly if they want to be a consultant, these days, most people will do a bit of hunting online, and even if they don’t, their friends and family will do this hunting for them! Having a proper online presence will make you stand-out and show you to be a leader they want to join up with.

Secondly, if someone is interested in Tastefully Simple but does not know anyone in the business, what will they do? Most likely, they will go to the search engines and type in “Tastefully Simple” and then their local town, county, state or nearby city. Do you know how to get found in Google? Will YOUR name appear when that hot prospect searches online? Even if you realize the power of this, you may not realize how few people are actually doing it!

You have two choices:

1. Learn how to do it yourself.

2. Pay someone to do it for you (I recommend an experienced MLMer who will GUARANTEE you first page listings. For more details, contact me ASAP. This is because this MLMer only works with one client in a particular area and company, and if someone in your area has already contacted him, he will have to decline working with you.)

Thirdly, as you connect with many different people, you will find quite a few who want to earn more money, have a home business, spend more time with the kids, etc. Unfortunately not all of them will be right for your business. Some won’t be interested enough in food to make a business of it, some will have skills in other areas, and some will already be with another MLM company or home business.

However, rather than be disappointed that you have got nothing from all your work in connecting with them, there is another way of helping them AND helping you in your business too.<a

MLM is NOT easy.

Simple, maybe. But not easy.

Your first page in your MLM Diary will be excitement, “Yeah! I’ve just joined (Forever Living / Avon / <Insert Company Name Here – Proudly>)! My dreams will come true!”

But this diary will track much more along the way.

Yes, an MLM is easy to get started. You usually don’t need much money, you don’t need a lot of time (although committing anything less than 5 hours a week is probably a waste of time) and there are no qualifications to get in.

Yes, it can be easy to get some success. Often the products are impressive and there are systems you can plug into to help you. Perhaps you can get a few customers or even reps from your close contacts, family and friends to keep you excited for a while.

But it is also easy to give up. There is no boss to answer to, no one holding you accountable – or they may hold you accountable but not agree with what you are doing.

Building a successful freedom-producing MLM is a 2-5 year plan – at least.

Did your Diary only have enough pages for 1 year? Plan to need more.

If you don’t like how long an MLM takes, then don’t continue until you get a new plan.

Because there is a reason why over 90% of people who give MLM a try WILL fail (and you can check for yourself the facts on an MLM income.)

So, keeping a diary of your MLM journey can help you immensely in 3 ways…

1. Keep Those Dreams Alive.

Write down your goals, the reason(s) WHY you got started in the first place [The Why That Makes You Cry], and have it there to go back to for the rough times. Most people’s dreams in life aren’t going to come from a job or even from a government hand-out.

2. Self-reflection.

Every successful MLMer I know has done a huge amount of personal development. It’s just part of the journey.

In fact it is one of the key reasons that Robert Kiyosaki of Rich Dad, Poor Dad fame recommends network marketing – for what it teaches you along the way.

3. Tracking & Consistency.

Tracking what you do is essential to long-term consistency that delivers results. MLM pays off once you grow a team that does the work with you, and that takes time and it takes you leading by example and doing the work first.

Every business has numbers to follow – numbers of new people to meet, to share the business with, to follow-up with, etc etc. It ain’t glamorous, but it’s what’s needed.

Bonus Tip: If you keep a full Diary you will find one other real benefit in it…

It will collect your stories.

Those stories, good AND bad, will be the ones that you will one day tell to others. About the hard times you had, about the opportunities you chased, and about the choices you faced in giving up before you got to your success.

You’ll tell these stories to your friends and family, you will tell them to your team, heck you may even tell them up on stage at your companies big convention.

And all from your MLM Diary. So keep it wisely and safe MLMing!<br

It backs up your WordPress database (or databases), and it does this quite reliably.

It is free. That’s also very nice.

It is massively popular, with 1,200,000+ downloads as of this writing.

It has a solid reputation and many, many people recommend this plugin. (In fact the reason I am writing this post is exactly because one very well-known, long-standing and influential IM guru whom I respect sent me an email recommending it.)

So with all that going for WordPress Database Backup, why would I have any issue with it?

Well simply because people think that if they use WP-DB-Backup they can feel safe …

… and they are dangerously mistaken!

You see there is more to a WordPress blog than just the database.

The database stores your passwords, posts, pages, etc etc.

BUT… the separate from the database here is also your theme, your plugins, your plugin settings, your uploads (like graphics, pdf files etc), your widget settings, your opt-in boxes, your custom tweaks of your theme, and anything you dared to upload onto your site via FTP rather than through your official WordPress system.

Basically that’s hours and hours of tweaking that you did to your blog, and all that will be utterly vaporized if you are only left with the database as your backup.

So my guess is that of the 1.2 million people who downloaded this plugin, about 80% had NO IDEA of this limitation.

They are at risk of having some catastrophe happen, only to find that their back-up isn’t all it was cracked up to be.

Aaargh!!!

And with maybe a million bloggers with 1 or more blogs each at risk – this is why I vote WP-DB-Backup as THE most dangerous plugin of all time.

Fortunately, once you know the problem you can focus on the solution. So here are…

The 3 Best Solutions For a COMPLETE WordPress Backup

…of your database, AND the rest.

And each of these 3 can be set to run automatically for ultimate set-and-forget peace of mind.

The Free Option:
Update 12/04/28: Unfortunately the EZPZ One Click Backup plugin I recommended here was yesterday officially farewelled and survives no more. You can find more details at my other Personally I love this one. BlogVault is a deceptively simple service that has an extra feature – once you have backed up your site you can click a button and it will ‘restore’ your site onto their own servers. This way you can SEE your site safely up and running with posts, theme, widgets and everything, rather than just hope it was all backed up successfully. The downside is that BlogVault is a paid monthly subscription, even though the first month is free. Visit BlogVault here, or see the video of my own site ‘restored’ BackupBuddy has all the bells and whistles that a backup system requires, but it is not free. However with it’s one-time fee it is the cheapest option, and absolutely the cheapest if you have lots of blogs you need taken care of. I even did a head-to-head comparison with WordPress’ own backup service, VaultPress, and you can read it <a

Why not own the shop?

Of course, it’s a promotion for their pizza franchise.

It’s a simple pitch of, “Do you love your company/job? If not, realize that a solution is to own this business!”

And isn’t that the basic idea behind an MLM Distributorship as well?

The desire to own this business.

So let’s compare a franchise THIS with an MLM this.

There are many variations of each, but in general the 3 key difference are …

1. The upfront costs. Our pizza-loving entrepreneur needs to come up with $50,000-$100, 000. Many MLMs cost under $1000.

2. The income potential. A franchise’s profits are limited by the physical turnover of one business. MLMs earn off many ‘businesses’, and many of them can even earn much more than most franchises.

So if it costs less money and has greater income potential, why doesn’t everyone choose an MLM?

The answer is simple…

3. The odds of success. In an MLM, Distributors fail MORE often than a standard small business. Franchisees, on average, fail LESS often.

If you are already in an MLM you love, then make sure you address #3 with proper training (like the ‘systems’ in a franchise).

If you haven’t yet found something you ‘love’, then here is <a
